Counting

Tap +1 to count a row or a round. Undo takes back the last change, and Reset starts the counter over once you tap it a second time. Every tap is saved the moment you make it, with or without a signal.

Accounts and sync

You don't need an account: everything but the pattern import works on your iPhone alone. An account backs up your projects, photos and patterns, and keeps a second device in step. To make one, open Settings → Sign in or create an account. With an email account, confirm your address from the email we send, then sign in.

Importing a pattern

Importing needs an account. Open a pattern, then Import steps. Choose a PDF, photos of its pages, or paste its text. Before your first import on this phone the app asks for your permission and names Anthropic, the service that reads the pattern. Each account's first import is free. Pro reads up to 30 pages a day.

Check the steps against your pattern before you save them: the import can misread a row, and every step can be edited, before and after saving. Import only patterns you own.

US and UK terms

US and UK crochet patterns use the same words for different stitches. On a pattern's steps screen, pick which terms the pattern is written in. Show UK terms then changes how every pattern's steps read, there and on the counter. The pattern itself is never changed.

Pro, billing and canceling

Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The prices for your country are shown in the app. To cancel, open Settings → Mark My Row Pro in the app, or your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Bought Pro on another iPhone? Tap Restore purchases in Settings → Mark My Row Pro, signed in to the same Apple account.

Deleting your account

Settings → Account → Delete account removes your account and everything stored with it, from our server and from your iPhone. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel a Pro subscription: cancel that first, as above. More in the privacy policy.
